Biography

Ais regularly deals with the laws of both common and civil law jurisdictions. She benefits from the knowledge and understanding of cultural and business nuances in multiple jurisdictions. She is primarily active in international arbitration,  cross-border insolvency and asset tracing & recovery. 

Her industry focus varies from banking and finance, energy, transportation and aviation, to construction and infrastructure.

Ais has 10+ years of experience acting as counsel in international arbitration proceedings conducted under the rules of major arbitration institutions (ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICAC, ad hoc under the UNCITRAL International Arbitration Rules). She has also represented clients in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and coordination of large asset recovery projects globally (UK, USA, France, BVI, Cyprus, CIS countries).

Prior to joining TA Advisory, Ais was a Legal Director at Gateley Legal, one of the largest city law firms in London, UK.

Ais actively participates in international arbitration community. She has been named as a Rising Arbitrator by Rising Arbitrators Initiative and a NextGen arbitrator by the Russian Arbitrators Guide. She has been recognised by Best Lawyers for her work in International Arbitration, Arbitration and Mediation, and Litigation.

She is a native Russian speaker and is fluent in English.
