Our recent litigation & arbitration experience includes:
- Acted for a South-African billionaire in respect to a commercial dispute with a Russian investor
- Representing a large international bank in a pledge enforcement action worth over USD 1 bio against a borrower
- Representing a large international bank in an asset recovering matter involving several jurisdictions, including Switzerland, Russia, Cyprus, and Bulgaria
- Representing a CIS client in respect to an LCIA arbitration and a number of other criminal and civil ramifications pertaining to the sale of one of the largest CIS agricultural companies
- Represented a Russian real estate developer in a cross-jurisdiction dispute and fraud matter against a former business partner
- Representing a CIS party in an enforcement action combined with various anti-fraud actions as a response to a criminal wrongdoing of former business partners
- Represented a CIS businessman in a politically motivated criminal case initiated against him by the Ukrainian government which led to freezing of the client’s assets in excess of USD 30 mio in Switzerland
- Representing a major diamond custodian company in connection with a USD 50 mio diamond fraud in South Africa; represented the same client in a number of other matters in Switzerland
- Represented in a white-collar crime case in connection with a corruption scandal involving Petrobras, the largest Brazilian oil company
