Biography
Ais is a Partner and Head of the Dubai office at TA Advisory. A triple-qualified lawyer (England & Wales, Ireland, and Russia), she brings a truly international perspective to her practice, with extensive experience advising clients across both common law and civil law jurisdictions.
An international disputes lawyer by background, Ais specialises in complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation, cross-border insolvency, and global asset tracing and recovery. She has acted as counsel in high-value arbitration proceedings under the rules of leading institutions including the ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICAC, and the Swiss Arbitration Centre, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations conducted under the UNCITRAL Rules. In addition to her counsel work, she also sits as arbitrator and is listed with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC, UAE), the Energy Disputes Arbitration Centre (EDAC, Turkey), and the Astana International Arbitration Centre (AIAC, Kazakhstan).
Prior to moving to Dubai, Ais practised in London, where she handled English law matters, including LCIA arbitrations and proceedings before the High Court of Justice. Since relocating to the UAE, Ais has expanded her practice to include UAE law matters. As Head of the Dubai office, she has led the development and strategic growth of the firm’s presence in the region. She oversees the local team and drives the office’s expansion across key sectors, including banking and finance, energy, transport and aviation, fintech, construction, and infrastructure.
Ais is recognised by Best Lawyers for her work in International Arbitration, Arbitration and Mediation, Insolvency, and Litigation. She has also been named a Rising Arbitrator by the Rising Arbitrators Initiative and a NextGen Arbitrator by the Russian Arbitrators Guide.
